Awesome place! I love you comedians. Although, I hate the 2 drink minimum. Especially 5 bucks for a glass of soda? C'mon! Other than that, got a great
deal coming here. 20 dollars for 6 tickets! Then the comedians gave us 6 more. Sweeeeeeeeet. So if you're up for laughs after a bad day, I'd say
here's the best place.

The first time I went Sarah Silverman performed - she was amazing and so were many of the other comedians that shared the stage with her that night.
Since then I have been back twice and both nights I laughed my as* off. God - nothing feels better than that. I have been recommending EastVill to all
my friends and so should you. :)

Finding the EastVille Comedy Club was a very pleasant surprise for me. My experience in NYC comedy clubs has generally been that they are very
cramped and pretentious. Eastville is relaxed and low key. I've now gone quite a few times and I have to say that I am amazed at how overall the
comics have been really very funny. I've gone to a lot of other clubs and I will like maybe 1 out of 3 or 4 comics that perform - but here, I find
that there is maybe 1 dud the entire night. Yes, there have been exceptions but the God's honest truth is they do very well on lining up a good
number of funny people for every show. rnrnCover charge was reasonable, drink charges were $5-7, they serve nonalcoholic drinks and/or coffee and the
coffee is good, I've ordered some food that was very tasty. rnrnLastly, the staff is extremely friendly, and it's not so crowded that you're not
crushed up to the person next to you. The place is basically retro with spread out seating and everyone has a good view of the stage.rnrnAnd it's
worth saying that when you are done with the show you're in the east village and you can go out in the neighborhood. Overall a great time and a great
vibe.

Cozy space, conveniently located. Not as fancy or pricey as some of the other clubs but has a nice relaxed vibe.

I really like this place, especially because they always have topnotch comedians (Godfrey, Todd Barry, Sherrod Small, Gary Gulman, Ted Alexandro, Amy
Schumer, Joey Gay, Christian Finnegan, Mike Britt in the last 6 weeks), 4-5 comedians every weekend. Free tickets too almost all of the time (get on
the mailing list), pretty cheap drinks ($7/beer, 2 drink minimum etc) for nearly 2 hours of standup. Definitely a good place, strongly suggest
checking it out if you like standup.rnrnIt is a bit of a basement dive, but no matter what you can sit closer than at most packed clubs (Comic Strip
Live, Caroline's) with a similar lineup for less money. Can you ask for more than that?
