I'm no expert when it comes to comedy clubs, but I have to say... whatever this place is doing, they are doing it right. When you walk in the deep,
dark and ominous hallway, they have framed pictures of a bunch of comics (I remember Margaret Cho, George Carlin, Wanda Sykes, and Ellen... to name
just a few). The set up is a little bizarre; you don't actually get tickets when you want to go to a show. The reserve a space for you, and then I
guess give it away if you don't show up. I've never seen a place work like this. When the show is almost finished, that is when you pay. There were
some very drunk overweight men who almost disrupted the show I saw several times, so maybe this process avoids drunks fighting about having already
paid. Who knows? It was kind of nice to see now, pay later.

OK, so me and my buddy went to a show on Thurs. Nov. 8th, I have to admit, we were kinda sketchy after reading some on line reviews, however, after
attending, those of you who wrote about the management being rude and "not allowing laughter" are so in the wrong. In my life, I have
learned that human beings don't know that they are idiots in the world. That is one of the reasons you are idiots-because of your ignorance. If a
manager has to come to you and tell you to shut the hell up, its because you should shut the hell up. When we went there were some dumb, insecure
people who were trying to get attention on themselves from their "heckling" and I just wanted to kick their behinds. The comics are used to
this kind of audience and so rightly put them in their place, which sparked new material and made the entire room roar in laughter. So, if your
reading these reviews and thinking its a sketchy joint, don't listen to these idiots who wrote those un-called for comments about the management. It
was an amazing show and I would totally go again, but this time I would spill my cocktail on the dumb idiots who almost ruined the show by
interrupting the comics in the middle of their super hilarious peformance. By the way it was one of the most cleanest bathrooms I have ever used in
Manhattan with fresh cut flowers on the sink.rn

I went there to see Gregg Rogel and had a great time. We were a party of 6 and were well taken care of. I love to laugh and I had a ball. My friends
want to make it a monthly thing. Thanks Gotham. Oh by the way thanks to the Gotham for keeping order in the show. There were several drunk spectators
there and they were spoken to. That settled them down.

By far the best comedy experience i've had in years. The first performer, a woman named Jessica Kirson, was hilarious. our entire party had a great
time. The other comics were funny as well and the MC (a guy from the south) was great. we're beer drinkers so i cant comment on the drinks but the
service was good. Gotham is more like a nightclub than most comedy clubs. No dark black walls and dirty bathrooms here. great date spot. highly
recommended.

I went to Gotham on my vacation last week and had a great time. Our hotel told us about it and we decided to go even though we weren't that familiar
with the comics. So awesome! The openers were really good and got us going and the headliner made me laugh harder that i had in a long time. It was a
little crowded but once the show started i was laughing too hard to care. the liqour selection was good and i liked that we could order food there
too. I will definitley go back.
