Dan Naturman Returns to Conan with a Killer Stand-Up Set
If you love to laugh, you’ve probably heard of Dan Naturman. A comic’s comic, known for his performances on America’s Got Talent, and his regular rounds on late night television. On Tuesday he came out swinging with his own brand of comedy; almost a Rodney Dangerfield-like expression of self-deprecating humor built around personal experiences, delivered in bite-sized riffs.
Check out the clip:
Naturman has a long history with Conan, first appearing in 1998 on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien. This time around, Dan broke out some observations from his 5th time becoming an uncle. And, you’ve gotta respect any comedian that holds a law degree with a current New York State Bar membership; primarily because he could slap a libel lawsuit on anyone he wants for pennies on the dollar.
All kidding aside, Naturman’s a fun act to take in. He’s relaxed, down-to-earth and known for calling it like he sees it. 28 years hitting the comedy circuit has allowed him to hone his act while staying current. In fact, he turns his life experience into one of his greatest weapons; allowing him to deliver bits about texting versus the old-school hook-up phone calls of the 80’s era. And, of course, his five different life experiences becoming an uncle. Something tells me he’s still out there hunting the racks for a copy of “Uncle’s for Dummies”.
