The New York Comedy club is located on 241 East 24th Street in NYC and is one of New York City’s best comedy clubs. Many comedians that perform here have been featured on some of comedy’s most prestigious shows such as HBO, MTV, Comedy Central and more. This NYC comedy club is often referred to as the “NYCC” and their slogan is, “Great Comedy at Discount Prices.” The NYCC features some of the best performers in comedy as well as local talent, daily. This comedy club has a fantastic food and drink menu. They offer something that most other NYC comedy clubs don’t; pizza. This club offers some of the biggest and best pizza in New York City. At the NYCC you can have some of the best drinks in town as well. Sip on a strawberry Margarita or a Coors light while you watch the show. Unlimited free soft drinks such as Coca Cola, juice and an order of chips are included in each ticket. The New York Times has dubbed them “The Walmart of Comedy”, due to their discount pricing. The NYCC includes free soft drinks and the same performers that you would see at other expensive comedy clubs for a lower price! The New York post has given this NYC comedy club the title “Pick of the Year 2000.”
Comedy shows in NYC have been a staple of the entertainment industry in New York City for over half a century. The New York Comedy Club is a favorite among the locals due to its cheap prices and hilarious performers. The NYCC was recently featured in a commercial for Comedy Central and Toyota that starred a regular performer at the club, Mark Normand! Long-time local and famous comedian, Judah Friedlander, who is that guy from that show, performs his stand-up routine here often.
