Dan Soder: Originally from Aurora, CO, Dan Soder started doing stand up at 21 while attending the University of Arizona. After two years of playing clubs and casinos all over the southwest, Dan decided he’d had enough of extreme heat and venomous animals so he moved to New York to get serious about stand-up. When he’s not napping or being lazy you can see Dan perform at clubs all over the city. You can also see Dan on this upcoming season of “Live at Gotham.” He hopes to not shame his family or friends — he also hopes he gets more time to nap now that he’s been on TV.
Nick DiPaolo: In this day of watered down comedy Nick Di Paolo’s brutally honest performances remind us of what great stand up should be funny, socially relevant and a little bit reckless. Nick began his career in his hometown of Boston and two-years later, made the jump to New York, where he found his seething, sarcastic style was welcomed with open arms by New York audiences at such clubs as Catch a Rising Star, Caroline’s and The Comedy Cellar. It was at clubs like these were he honed his uncompromising point of view, which makes him not only a club favorite, but a true “comic’s comic.” His range has allowed him to perform on shows as tame as ‘The Tonight Show,’ yet as edgy as HBO’s ‘Young Comedians Special’, ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ and Conan O’ Brien. He was twice nominated for an Emmy for his writing on ‘The Chris Rock Show.’ He has also had three half hour stand up specials of his own on Comedy Central and was one of the stars on ‘Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn’ and a stand out on many C.Central Roasts. Not limited to stand-up and writing, he has had guest starring roles on “Lucky Louie,’ ‘The Sopranos’and many sitcoms as well as in films including Artie Lange’s ‘Beer League.’A critic for the Winnipeg Press said it best when he described Nick as “Gentle as a starved wolverine and as predictable as a tipsy-hop through a minefield, Nick Di Paolo is an experience constrained only slightly by the demands of stand up comedy.” His strong political opinions and razor wit make him a perfect fit for talk radio as well. He is a favorite on both Howard Stern and Opie and Anthony and hosted his own show on New York’s 92.3 Free FM. Hide the women and children… here comes Nick Di Paolo.

The Stand NYC Comedy Club

The past summers for Jay have been busy ones — he performed stand-up comedy for over a quarter of a million screaming rock n’ roll fans by hosting Jager’s Korn tour and Rock Star Energy Drink’s Mayhem Fest. Jay wowed for a fourth time at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, performing on (and closing) the “Nasty Show” — a festival favorite — and took his performance to a whole new level with the debut of his solo show “The American Storyteller.” Last year he was invited to JFL Sydney to perform at The Sydney Opera House. Jay has been a guest on WTF with Marc Maron and “The Artie Lange Show.” He is a fan favorite on “Ron & Fez” on Sirius XM and his own podcast “Legion of Skanks” is available on itunes.
Subhah Agarwal: When people see Subhah Agarwal writing jokes, they often ask her why she’s doing homework at the bar. When not screaming into a pillow, you can find her getting ID’d by bouncers outside of New York comedy clubs, with regular appearances at New York Comedy Club, Greenwich, Broadway, & the Laughing Devil. She has performed at the New York Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, and was a featured comedian on PBS’s popular web series “Modern Comedian”
