Written by Kate Morgan
Kevin hart is a person who has already done and succeeded in so many things in his life. This list of success would include becoming the very first Comedian who sold out an NFL stadium for a performance. This performance of his, was all captured in his new comedy concert film named “Kevin Hart: What Now?” in theaters everywhere the next weekend.
The list goes on such as:
- Becoming the world’s highest paid comic, according to the Forbes
- Launching his new network: a Comedy Central Series named Kevin Hart: Heart of the City
- Having a thriving film career
All including this, what else is left for Kevin Hart to do in his life?
In an interview that was done with Maxim, Kevin Hart told his audiences about what will be the next big phase of Kevin Hart Empire. This big thing is that he wants to become the next number one box office action star in the world. If you were to analyze his latest film projects such as: Central Intelligence and Ride Along, you would realize that this is a natural progression for this comedy star.
He also told Maxim that “You’ll get to see the big Kevin Hart action star slowly grow into reality. I’ve been doing the action comedies for a minute, so now it’ll be steps up above it to where I’m doing action. Just trying to add some flair to it, that’s all.”
A very sample of that statement is the introduction piece that he gave to his stand up concert film “What Now?” that featured Kevin Hart’s role in a James Bond sort of role. He further says that, “That was the point of doing that teaser, it was to give people a glimpse of what’s to come. We’re developing things now that are gonna put me in that light.”
When it comes to the comedy of Kevin Hart, he has this wish that his comedy will define him for the generations of fans to come. He desires and wants to reach that height of success, prosperity and popularity that Eddie Murphy had hit back in the 20th century. He further elaborated and called Eddie Murphy his aspiration and his ideal image of goals and objectives. About Eddie Murphy, Kevin Hart’s statement was that, “He’s forever a legend, and I will always hold him at the highest level. He was a comedic rock star. When he was in his prime, you’re looking at a guy who was the definition of stand-up comedy. He made comedy shows events, he was dressed to the nines, and it was all about going to see him, to hear what he had to say. I want to do that—become that for this generation.”
From all of this all we can say is that with Kevin Hart’s goals, selling out Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia with 53,000 people is a very good start indeed.
