Alexa Loftus
Alexa Loftus is a veteran comedy writer and performer whose work is rife with punchline-driven dialogue thanks to her stand-up background. She is obsessed with the intersection of horror and comedy and pulls inspiration from local rumors and legends from her remote hometown in Southern Illinois. With a rich background in the industry and a voice to boot, Alexa is currently open for representation.
After being forced to drop out of film school because she didn’t own any Pulp Fiction posters, Alexa became a writer and stand-up comedian. Currently, she is a writer on The Problem with Jon Stewart. Previously, she’s been a writer on Throwing Shade and co-created the web series Check Your Surroundings, which was shot entirely with the reverse camera of a car, and produced by Funny or Die. Alexa’s goal is to write comedy television and features.
