Alex Kumin is a bold, whip-smart stand-up comedian originally from Chicago, now performing across the country. Known for her sharp wit, fearless honesty, and unapologetic takes on everything from gender inequality to thigh chafing, Alex delivers powerhouse performances that leave audiences laughing and thinking.
A proud alum of The Lincoln Lodge, the nation’s longest-running independent stand-up showcase, Alex honed her craft in Chicago’s legendary comedy scene. She also taught Feminine Comique, Chicago’s top all-female stand-up class, helping to empower a new generation of comedians.
Alex’s monthly showcase, Diamond Comedy Hour, took place at the Chicago Laugh Factory, featuring some of the premier female comedians in the country. She’s had the pleasure of working alongside comedy heavyweights like Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, Tom Green, Rory Scovel, The Lucas Brothers, Aparna Nancherla, Greg Fitzsimmons, Jen Kirkman, and Todd Barry.
