Anthony DeVito
Anthony DeVito is a comedian, SAG-AFTRA actor, writer, and a native New Yorker. He performs stand-up, character and sketch comedy all over New York City.
Acting credits include Boardwalk Empire on HBO, White Collar on USA Network, Rescue Me with Denis Leary on F/X, NBC’s Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins and independent films. He’s appeared on A&E, Discovery Channel, VH1’s All Access series and Comedy Central. Online, he was the official “spokestree” for Jersey Doesn’t Stink and appears on AdultSwim.com as well as in his own original comedy videos.
Anthony has appeared in commercials for Dunkin’ Donuts, Ryka, Humira, Caesars Atlantic City, CarMax, Cablevision, American Express, Fanta Soda and more. He’s even been in a music video, playing a mailman in Bon Jovi’s Have A Nice Day.
His film acting debut was in the hit comedy from Italy, NATALE A NEW YORK (Christmas in New York.) He’s a lead in the award-winning independent feature APOSTLES OF PARK SLOPE and the upcoming A BOX CAME TO BROOKLYN, which he also co-wrote. In comedy films, he’s played a killer who hates Christmas because he never got a pony, a crack-dealing plumber, a competitive priest, a battered husband and an assassin who works for the lottery commission. Stage credits include the UCB Theater, People’s Improv Theater, NYC’s Manhattan Monologue Slam, the Little Monsters Festival, scene work at Atlantic Theater Company and the one-act comedy CTRL+ALT+DEL, written and directed by Conan writer Andres du Bouchet.
Anthony writes comedy for TV, stage, film and the web. He wrote the official Twitter feed for the internationally popular character DOMO from and has live-tweeted media events for BBC America and Huffington Post and is regularly featured on Witstream.com. He’s written for comedy pilots pOny, Inside Access Tonight! and The Tom Mule Show created series ideas for My Damn Channel and made fun of ugly clothes and the stars who wore them as one of Us Weekly magazine’s most popular Fashion Police. He also works as a creative consultant, combining his comedy and writing skills with his background in advertising to create ad campaigns, conceptual treatments and funny content for advertising and entertainment brands.
