Dan Soder is a comic who has literally wandered out of the desert and onto the stage. Going to school at the University of Arizona, Dan stumbled upon his passion for comedy and decided to try his hand at a few of the comedy clubs that make up the Arizona comedy scene (yeah, we have yet to hear of any either). Realizing that comedy was going to be a major part of his life, Dan began his pilgrimage to the home of comedy: New York City.

While performing and cutting his teeth on the NYC comedy circuit, Dan was able to make a name for himself with more than 6 years of dedication and hard work. Making it in comedy is no small feat, but Dan has overcome the odds and weaseled his way into some pretty awesome comedy podcasts, TV shows, and radio programs.

Comedy Central took an interest in Dan Soder’s unique brand of comedy, developed over years of performing in casinos and resorts throughout the southwestern United States. Dan has been featured in his very own episode of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour. He’s also been featured as a standup comic in Live at Gotham.

Using favorable reviews, a lot of hard work, and a little notoriety, Dan was tapped to help replace Anthony Cumia on the hit comedy program Opie and Anthony on XM Radio. Today you’ll find Dan taking the “third mic” as a regular guest on Opie Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Dan is a regular contributor to the You Know What Dude Podcast, and has appeared multiple times on TBS’ Conan. Rounding out his network television credits, Dan Soder has made an appearance on MTV2’s Guy Code, where he offered his advice on what it means to be a man.
