While making us laugh was Darrell’s primary calling to the television screen, Darrell Hammond also made guest appearances as characters in episodes of some of our favorite network television shows. If you love “bong! bong!” of NBC’s original Law and Order, and its numerous spinoffs, you likely remember him playing the character of Ted Bolger. Darrell Hammond’s IMDB listings are endless, but one that will likely also jump off the page is his part as “The Deacon” in USA Network’s hit show Damages.

We talked about it a bit earlier, but Darrell’s ability to impersonate the world around him truly knows no bounds. Just to name a few of his victims, they include Bill Clinton, John McCain, Rick Perry, Donald Trump, Dick Cheney, Jay Leno, Lou Dobbs and many, many more. Every once in a while, if you’re lucky to catch one of his live improv performances, you’ll get to witness him break into character and make you doubletake; almost forgetting you’re at a comedy club!

To catch one of Darrell Hammond’s performances in New York City, you can check out BCT’s Online NYC Comedy Schedule, which is regularly updated with Darrell’s performances. You’ll likely catch him booking performances at either the Comedy Cellar or Stand Up NY.
