Dennis has been entertaining audiences with his unique brand of Comedy & Magic for over 25 years. His Award Winning Show is a favorite among entertainment buyers through out the country. His quick wit and ability to adapt to any situation while making it funny and entertaining makes him a hit at any function.
Dennis became hooked on magic after he ordered his first mail order magic trick from the back of Life Magazine. It didn’t take him long to earn his first paycheck of $15.00 performing for his neighbors birthday party. At 13 he was invited to perform a 15-minute segment on a local Saturday morning TV show called “The Friendship Shop”. From there with the help of his mom, he was booked for more Scout Banquets, Schools Shows, and Company Parties. At 15 he performed at local malls and department stores learning the business side of magic which eventually leaded him to owning a magicians supply store in Southern Indiana. At night Dennis would perform his act in restaurants and clubs throughout town which gave him the exposure needed for steady work as an entertainer.
A personal highlight was performing for George H. Bush at a Fundraising Gala for Senator Mitch McConnell in Lexington KY. The Secret Service inspecting his prop case was a very funny but “serious” part of the event. This performance lead to more bookings in the political circles of Kentucky.
From 1992 – 2000 he performed at a small theater in Jeffersonville Indiana called the Madhouse of Mystery Theater. This was an 85-seat venue in the back of a magic shop where his magic friends gathered every Saturday to entertain the public and hone their skills on stage.
Dennis produced a monthly show called the Battle of the Hands Comedy Magic Extravaganza at the Comedy Caravan in Louisville KY. This show ran for two years and showcased six comedy magicians each month at the historical Comedy Club. He also produced a show called “Spellbound” at French Lick Resort Casino in 2009. This was a $11,000 people’s choice magic competition where he showcased 18 unique magic acts competing for the large cash prizes. This show was brought about because of his successful one man show “English Parlor Magic” which played for sold out crowds at the casino from 2008- 2010.
In 2010 Dennis made his home in Branson MO performing in the show “Motown Downtown” at the Hot Hits Theater. He continues to tour and is excited about new projects coming online for 2011.
