Described as an ethnically ambiguous looking comic with a dark, yet playful edge, Gary wins over audiences with his quirky stage presence and odd point of view. Raised both Jewish and Christian Scientist, he sometimes ponders the big questions in his humor. He’s lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now in Brooklyn NY where the influences of each city and odd upbringing have rubbed off on his comedy and perspective.

Recently Gary was a semifinalist in the 2018 Devils Cup festival in NYC.  He regularly performs at Greenwich Village Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, LOL Comedy Club, The Creek and The Cave and more. He’s shared the bill with many of todays top comics like Mark Normand, Michelle Wolf,  Myq Kaplan, Phoebe Robinson, etc. He’s also been a guest on the popular David Feldman podcast where he got to flex his humor while talking about serious issues..

Besides performing standup, he’s studied sketch and improv at UCB (The Upright Citizens Brigade) and The People’s Improv Theatre. Gary is the host of The Gary Hour podcast and produced the popular weekly comedy show in the East Village of NYC I DON’T GET IT.

Gary also acts, plays several instruments and writes his own songs you can find here.
