Jen Kirkman is a stand-up comedian as well as a writer. She’s the author of “I Can Barely Take Care of Myself: Tales of a Happy Life Without Kids” which was on the New York Times Best Seller List in it’s first two weeks.
Jen is a regular round table guest on Chelsea Lately. She also was one of the stars of the hit-spin-off ‘mockumentary’ show After Lately.
Jen’s latest stand-up album Hail to the Freaks (released March 2011) hit #13 on the Billboard Charts. Her debut album was 2006’s “Self Help.”
Jen is a three-time narrator for the cult-hit series that started on You Tube and ended up on Comedy Central ” Drunk History.” One of the Drunk History shorts that Jen narrated won the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at Sundance in 2010.
Jen has been seen on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Craig Ferguson, Conan, John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show on Comedy Central and more.
Jen is known in podcast-land for her appearances on Paul F. Tompkins’ podcast, The Pod F. Tompkast, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as “the best comedy podcast of the moment.” Jen now has her own podcast, “I Seem Fun” which often ranks in the Top 100 on iTunes.
