Born in Atlanta, GA, matured in San Francisco, and now residing in Brooklyn, NY, Jill Weiner is a comedian and writer. Jill recently participated in the Trial by Laughter comedy festival where she placed 2nd. She has also performed in the Boston Comedy Festival, the Hell Yes Fest and the North Carolina Arts and Comedy festival. She co-produces a weekly comedy show in Manhattan called Lap Dance Saloon and is the first female champion of the New York City based roast battle, Comedy Fight Club. She also produces and co-hosts the hilarious and informative podcast, WikiFreakz.
She has been seen on the stages of Caroline’s, New York Comedy Club, Gotham, Stand up NY, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club, as well as bar and basement shows around the five boroughs. She has performed at Cobb’s Comedy Club and The Purple Onion in San Francisco.
Jill’s standup is dark, yet playful, self-deprecating, silly and smart. Today Jill can be spotted mumbling to herself on the streets of NYC, the subway or on a stage. She can also be seen eating soup at New York’s hottest diners.
