Jordon Ferber
Jordon Ferber – Comedian, Podcaster & New York Native
Jordon Ferber began his stand-up comedy career in 1999 at just 21 years old while studying Film at Occidental College in Los Angeles. After cutting his teeth hosting shows at The Garage, he moved back home to New York City in 2001 to pursue comedy full-time. A true New Yorker through and through, Jordon quickly became a fixture on the Manhattan circuit — performing at iconic venues such as Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Eastville Comedy Club and even Madison Square Garden.
Known for his sharp wit, dry delivery, and darkly funny perspective on life, Jordon has built a reputation as one of the most authentic voices in New York comedy. His material blends self-deprecating humour with heartfelt storytelling, a balance that has kept audiences laughing — and thinking — for more than two decades.
Beyond the stage, Jordon is the creator and host of the acclaimed podcast “Where’s The Grief?”, where he talks with comedians, actors, and creatives about navigating loss, healing, and humour. Inspired by his own journey after the loss of his brother Russell, he also co-founded the Russell Ferber Foundation, which provides scholarships and supports young artists in pursuing their passions.
Jordon continues to perform regularly at clubs throughout NYC and across the U.S., including spots at Comedy Village NYC, Broadway Comedy Club, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club. He has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, The Restaurant, and The Joey Reynolds Show on WOR, and has been featured in the New York Underground Comedy Festival’s Emerging Comics Contest.
When he’s not performing or podcasting, Jordon can usually be found writing (often in the third person) or mentoring younger comics entering the scene.
