Masood Boomgaard

Masood Boomgaard is a comedian, actor, social media content creator, film maker and MC who has been active in the entertainment industry for over a decade. As a live stand-up comedy performer he has played across South Africa to packed theatres and auditoriums as a solo act and alongside some of the biggest names in the industry.

His other solo comedy specials include “Joker” and “Funny Country.”

Masood is often featured as a guest on national and regional radio and has been seen on Comedy Central. He is also a sought after corporate entertainer. Among his past blue chip clients are FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Liberty and Mercedes-Benz. Masood is also a social media content creator who scripts, produces and acts in social media advertisements for numerous regional and national businesses. His online comedy skits and videos often reach millions of viewers across the world.

As an actor he has appeared in film and television. He was recently seen on the popular Etv soapie “Imbewu.”
