Christopher James

Christopher James

There is a reason Christopher James has worked in so many diverse venues. Magic is boring, tedious, and so often mocked. Christopher is well aware of this. If you want a traditional magician there are plenty of them out there that simply went online and purchased their career. On the other hand, Christopher has taken years, and 400-500 performances a year, to build an act that is actually entertaining and at times uses some magic in ways you have never seen. This is clear from the beginning of the show. No big boxes, no birds, no flexible assistants. He IS a comedian trying to do whatever it takes to entertain. A typical show involves improvisation, situational comedy and a unique view of magic. Just as with most things in his life, this very rarely goes as planned, sometimes has dire results, and always entertains. You’ll quickly learn that everyone and everything is fair game. read more
