Patrick Monahan is a comedian and writer living in New York City. Since 2014, he has been performing all over New York City at venues such as New York Comedy Club, The Creek and the Cave, and Eastville Comedy Club, as well as numerous independent comedy shows. In 2017 he appeared at Hell Yes Fest. His interview with stars Ari Graynor and Michael Angarano was a featured part of Showtime’s promotion of its series “I’m Dying Up Here”. Patrick runs a weekly comedy showcase on Fridays at Karma Lounge in the East Village, and co-hosts the popular comedy podcast What A Time To Be Alive.
Patrick has written for Above Average, Bleacher Report and Paper Magazine, and his writing and online antics have also been featured in numerous media outlets including Funny or Die, Esquire, GQ, Playboy, New York Magazine, BuzzFeed, Someecards, Paste Magazine, Complex, and Mandatory. His Twitter account, @pattymo, was one of Splitsider’s 15 Funniest Twitter Accounts of 2017 and number 14 of Paste Magazine’s 75 Best Twitter Accounts of 2016.
