People move to NYC to hone their craft to become great comedians and residents, as well as visitors who adore NYC for its amazing comedy clubs, fledging funny folks, and superstars. Venues such as Comedy Cellar, New York Comedy Club Midtown, and Broadway Comedy Club guarantee hilarious nights to remember – You’ll giggle at bits!

Sadly, stand-up comedy has been closed for over a year due to the COVID pandemic, but we have good news for you! The NYC comedy venues will be open at 100% capacity starting May 19th, 2021. New York Comedy Club – Midtown

The New York Comedy is a club that is open since 1989 in the Gramercy neighborhood. The place offered an excellent menu of drinks, good comedy shows, and an atmosphere similar to the great comedy clubs when they started working. Today it works in 2 places, with different schedules:

We met up with Rosebud Baker at one of her sold-out NYC comedy clubs shows at the New York Comedy Club in Midtown.

1. What other jobs did you do before starting stand up comedy?
I was a writer for online publications, I was a nanny, I taught yoga, worked at a dog behavior training center, and I worked (sporadically) as an actor in NYC in some off-broadway theater and indie films.

2. How did you know you wanted to be a comedian?
I didn’t even know, I just became one. When I started I was just having a really bad year and had no pride left. read more
