Ed Pokropski was born in Seoul, South Korea, and then adopted at 19 months old. I was raised mostly in Philly. Ed doesn’t like cheese-steaks, but Ed has been boxing since I was 17, so some stereotypes do stick.
Throughout the week, Ed host open mics under Laughing Buddha Comedy at Klimat in East Village. Ed performs stand-up in various clubs and bars throughout the country (but mostly NY, Philly, and NJ) and has hosted numerous charity events as an emcee.
Ed also writes, produces, directs, and edits content for NBC Universal. Ed did most of his work in kids’ television. Kids are the most challenging of all audiences. Their mood can change instantly and they can heckle better than anyone.
Ed lives in NYC, love food, and shamelessly promote Asian Americans everywhere, any chance that I get.
