Daniel Woodrow is a Canadian stand-up comedian from Toronto, Ontario. He is most noted as part of the ensemble that received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program or Series at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards for the debut episode of Roast Battle Canada. He has been an organizer of the Underground Comedy Railroad, an all-Black Canadian comedy tour that takes place each year during Black History Month. In 2021, with the tour unable to take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, he created the Unknown Comedy Club, an online streaming platform for comedy performances. He has also had acting roles in the television series The Beaverton, Star Trek: Discovery and Pretty Hard Cases, and Roast Battle Canada.
Rodney Ramsey is an actor, comedian, and producer who approaches his career with the mindset of a mad scientist, using the stage as his laboratory. He has appeared on Kevin Hart’s LOL channel, BBC’s Summer Comedy event, and starred in projects like “The Division,” “Race,” and Apple TV’s “The Big Cigar.”
Rodney’s unique and experimental approach to comedy has made him a versatile performer across various platforms. In 2012, Rodney co-founded The Underground Comedy Railroad Tour, the first-ever all-Black comedy tour in Canada. This initiative was created to spotlight Black Canadian comedians and share their uniquely Canadian perspectives on race and everyday life with new audiences.
Irina Chelidze is an NYC-bred, not-born comic and writer who works in film and television. In her spare time, she enjoys holding the door open for people who will never say thank you and tweeting about boys and bread.
Irina is an actor/writer/stand-up comic based in New York City, of which she is a native. She regularly hosts a show at The Stand and at Union Hall, two of Manhattan and Brooklyn’s best comedy clubs. In 2023, she was invited to Austin, TX, to perform at the Comedy Mothership, and she is also a regular at the New York Comedy Club.
Ali Sultan saw his first stand-up comedian after he moved to America from Yemen at the age of 15. He grew the desire to go on stage, but he needed to learn English. Ali’s comedy act is both clever and very funny. He is a master of observational humor and shares his personal life stories that are hilarious and memorable. Ali is a crowd-pleasing comic who is great at engaging and connecting with the audience. He became the first Yemeni American to make a television network debut on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”.
Geo Perez is a comedian from New York City. He began his stand-up career in Alabama. A former convict turned comedian, Geo co-hosts the “On The Gate” podcast, where he discusses his past experiences with drugs and crime. He has appeared on popular shows like “Kill Tony” and the “Legion of Skanks” podcast.
