Wesleyan T. New York, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just left this place and omg my stomach is in knots – such a great time! The comedians are really funny and not a waste of anyone’s time!! Shout out to Matt Richards And Richie Redding for being the highlights of the nights. Most importantly, the most important person: the bartender Rachel did her thing tonight. Her and the server (awesome girl, forgot her name) both hustled and brought out drinks/food in a timely manner. Thank you all xoxo
A T. Irvington, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There was fun all around at this comedy club! It was an hour an a half of really talented comedians! The show was free through a meetup group with all but a two-drink minimum. I can’t say enough good words about this hidden gem. I have been in New York forever and just stumbled on this great venue. Will definitely be back with friends!
Gigi A. Brooklyn, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My friend from Florida was wanted to see Mike Feeney who was hosting a Friday Night show. I’d never been here before and we were really impressed! Walking in, we were warmly greeted by Oz. He explained the rules, very standard – two-drink minimum or a pretty neat soda package. If you don’t drink alcohol, $21 per person gets you unlimited soda, juice, virgin cocktails and your choice of a popcorn or sour cream and onion Pringles. I would have loved this deal while I was pregnant or underage.
The comics were pretty funny! All of the seats had great views of the stage. Some of the comics utilized the screen with videos at the end of their act, our view was never obstructed.
The bathrooms were clean and there is a secret/underutilized bathroom in the “next door lounge” even though it’s in the same building. That bar has lots of seating room if you’re on a date but want to keep the party going after the comedy show.
I look forward to coming back, especially since our admission got us two free tickets to return another day. Well worth everything we spent and it might be my new favorite comedy club in the city.

This is my favorite comedy club ever! They never cease to disappoint, always a hoot. If you’re ever feeling down or bored – these guys are a sure bet to cheer you up.
Noah T. Detroit, MI ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Went and saw a great show tonight. So cool to see all of the old Rodney stuff. It’s definitely not updated but it’s well taken care of and it feels like you’re stepping back into the ’80s. I loved Rodney so this place was a bucket list for me. I’m surprised by some of the reviews. Drinks are damn fair priced compared to half the city I thought. But what do I know? I liked the place.
Rathore V. Hoboken, NJ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a very underrated comedy club(at least based on the night we were there). They were three comedians, each having sets of 20-25 minutes. All of them were very good, while one was exceptional! We have been to a fair share of clubs and their performances rank amongst the best. They could definitely do with revamping the bar and the theater but all I look for is good entertainment. Their drink prices are higher than other comedy clubs but don’t let that you put you off since the comedians are fantastic (or you can get snacks, soda or water to keep it friendly to your wallet). Highly recommended!
3. For a surprise Famous Comedians
EastVille Comedy Club
487 Atlantic Ave Brooklyn, NY 11217 b/t 3rd Ave & Nevins St Boerum Hill (347) 889-5226
Brooklyn Comedy Club
Sunday, 9 PM
Monday, 6 PM
Tuesday-Thursday, 6 PM, 9 PM
Friday-Saturday, 6 PM, 7 PM, 9 PM, 11 PM
Eastville Comedy Club used to be located in the East Village. They often get some of the A-List celebrity comedians such as Aziz Ansari, Conan O’Brien, Andrew Dice Clay, Bill Burr and Sarah Silverman, Jim Gaffigan, Louis C.K. and many others. The great thing about Eastville even though they have some of the best comics on their schedules you really never know who is going to drop by. It recently moved to Brooklyn making it the only real professional comedy club in that borough.
Eastville Comedy Club Reviews
Julia P. Brooklyn, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
So cool to have a dedicated comedy club in Brooklyn! I like this new location a lot! Not only is it just three blocks from my apartment, but it’s so much cleaner and more open than their previous location. Which I guess means it lacks that famous East Village grit, but I don’t care.
Saw a 5 comedian set, each one funnier than the next. Jeanine Garofalo performed and I think she must have a residency here because she’s always on deck.
Good service from the wait staff as well!
Summer L. Brooklyn, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
EastVille is a super cool club. I’ve been going since it was in the East Village. I’ve discovered so many talented comedians. Nathan MacIntosh was hysterical. The staff is awesome, and the service is excellent. They recently now offer a NO DRINK minimum which is super helpful! My only complaint is that they book the SAME Female comedian weekly for years now!! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP EastVille. You need to switch things up for the regulars who want to visit frequently! Thanks!
Martine L. Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The East Ville moved to Brooklyn and it was a smart move. The comedians were amazing! The host was hilarious and there wasn’t a two drink minimum! The bar is cute and adorable. The comedy club is cozy. I thought the line up was really smart with their comedy. I would totally go back
Caterina P. Astoria, Queens, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My best friend has been talking about this place for the longest, and I finally had the opportunity to check it out last week Saturday. So glad I did! Ok, I’ve been to my share of comedy clubs, and this one is hands down, the best! From what I understand, this club was in the city & relocated to Brooklyn. We got there just before the show, and there was quite a line, but it moved quickly. It’s $22 per person with a two-drink minimum- the prices are pretty much the same as other comedy clubs. When you walk in, it’s a cute bar with contemporary decor, pass the bar & into the room where the magic happens. It was packed- couples, groups, all different ages. The service was good- even though it was really busy. There were about 6 acts & they were all hilarious! And they were pretty big names- one of them was Gad Elmaleh- who is big time in the comedy arena. I anticipated that there would be 1 or 2 acts that might be funny- since that has been my experience at other comedy clubs. Thumbs up EastVille- highly recommend!!!
4. For dinner and a show
Tribeca Comedy Lounge
TRIBECA – DOWNTOWN
Sunday-Saturday, 6 PM — 12 AM (Varies)
They say the way to fall in love with someone is through the belly and to make them laugh. Well, this Tribeca Comedy Lounge manages to do both. Which is why it made the list as one of the best NYC Comedy Clubs to attend. Tickets typically cost $25 per person and the food is fantastic. The Tribeca Comedy Lounge is located in the Gran Morsi Italian Restaurant. It’s an airy place serving classic & modern Italian shared plates, plus brick-oven pizzas & cocktails. italian restaurant. VOTED BEST NEWCOMER BY TIMEOUT NY.
It all started with a simple idea. In a city renowned for its world-class comedians and world-class chefs, why not combine both to create a uniquely enjoyable experience? At most comedy clubs, food is at best an afterthought (and often as laughable as anything you’ll hear from the stage).
Tania S. New York, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Came here for the first time last night. HILARIOUS comedians (including host Zach Macgovern), making the most awesomely inappropriate jokes. Servers were slow but the drinks were nice and strong to make up for it. Food was surprisingly good too.
Fola K. Bowie, MD ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great drinks! Great show..the staff was really attentive. I found this deal on Groupon and was reluctant at first but had a wonderful time
Ilana D. Los Angeles, CA ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place is a hidden gem in TriBeCa. I went with a group of my friends from out of town and we had the most amazing time! TriBeCa lounge is like a swanky ass comedy club. The drinks are super strong. I was simply blown away by the caliber of comics in this place. 5 stars. The only bummer is that it’s only open for Friday night. But, I will be coming back!
Valentina B. Manhattan, New York, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my first time going to the comedy. Had a really great time. Out of 6 comedians performing loved most of them. The place is small enough for you comfortably be close tint he stage. Try searching a Groupon if you want to try this out.

Jenn W. Palm Harbor, FL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cool place! Waiting for the show we talked with comedians and staff and they were entertaining and sweet. We went to a late show on a Sunday with fewer people but the comedians were still great. There seemed to be 2 stages one being downstairs. We were upstairs. 5 ish people? Host Kathryn was funny – I wasn’t judging you I couldn’t smile any longer. Would recommend! Priced well and 2 drink minimum is standard.
Pamela N. London, United Kingdom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was skeptical to come at first because of the bad&mix reviews but I have to say I really enjoyed the show!
Came here on Saturday night, after waiting like 15-20min in the lobby the staff walked us to the basement and allocated everybody in their seats.
I believe was around 5 or 6 comedians and all of them were actually funny.
Services it’s ok, they do have minimum 2 drinks per person so expect to spend at least $45+tip but it’s ok when actually you’re enjoying the show 😉
Esther Z. Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Went there with my homegirl for a birthday treat, and an early divorce celebration. HAD A BLAST!!! The comics were on point, the hostess was funny and full of energy, she hugged me when I came in.. it was a small venue but there’s a stage downstairs also. Close seating but that made it more fun, laughing with everyone… the comics were funny as hell, I cud not stop laughing.. my mouth hurt when I left.. the cover charge was cheap compared to the experience. I cannot wait to go back!!!
Diana B. East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, UT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We went for the last Sunday Night Live show that they did. We had a great time. Comedians were very funny. The whole audience was laughing. Do the tables face the stage? No. Just turn your chair like everyone else. Were the drinks $10 to $11 dollars? Yes, but the bar down the street wasn’t much less and we didn’t get a show.
