Receiving critical acclaim as a stand-up, actor and author, Lewis Black has performed for audiences throughout Europe, New Zealand, Canada and The United States. In 2012, he performed eight sell-out shows at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway.

Lewis was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Silver Spring, MD. Colicky as a baby, it seems he was destined to be angry and easily irritated. His mother, a teacher, and his father, a mechanical engineer, instilled in both Lewis and his younger brother Ron the importance of education and the necessity to question authority; lessons which have influenced Lewis throughout his private and professional life. When Lewis was 12, his father took him to his first play and he quickly fell in love with the theatre. This ultimately led Lewis to pursue a career in drama. Degrees followed from the University of North Carolina and Yale Drama School, with a stint in Colorado owning a theatre with a group of friends in the interim. During his tenure at UNC, Lewis first ventured into stand-up, performing at Cat’s Cradle in Chapel Hill. Stand-up continued to be a steady presence as he pursued his career in theatre. read more

Justin Silver is a rising star in the stand-up comedy world. He can be seen regularly at the Comedy Cellar, Caroline’s on Broadway, and Stand Up NY on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. A Queens native, Justin is also passionate about animal rights. He spent over a decade rehabilitating and caring for abused animals before opening a full-service pet care organization in New York entitled The Language of Dogs.

Justin recently founded the Funny For Fido organization, where comedians ‘stand up for homeless animals.’ The non-profit organization books fundraising shows to help support volunteer-based, no-kill animal shelters. Funny For Fido has lured some of the biggest names in the New York comedy scene, including Colin Quinn, Amy Schumer, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, and the late Patrice O’Neal. Jon Rineman is a writer and stand-up comedian. A 2005 Emerson College graduate, Jon has been a regular at Harvard Square’s Comedy Studio since 2004.

Based in Boston, he became a freelance monologue writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, contributing daily jokes about current events to the top-rated show in late-night television.

In 2005, Jon was published in the Improper Bostonian’s annual humor edition. After honing his craft for a few years as a writer and comedian, Jon was hired to be a writer for NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which replaced Conan O’Brien’s Late Night show. John Oliver is an outstanding writer and stand up comedian. In 2006, John landed one of the most sought-after positions in comedy when he was hired as a writer and on-air correspondent for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. John became one of the core correspondents on the show, garnering him millions of fans across the country. In 2008, he wrote and starred in his first one-hour stand up comedy special entitled Terrifying Times, which is available on DVD. In 2010, John began hosting his own series on Comedy Central, entitled John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show, where John performs stand up and features some of the top stand up comedians in the country. Thus far, the show has run for three successful seasons. John has won multiple Emmy and Writers Guild of America Awards for his work writing The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Joel McHale does comedy things. A lot of comedy things. Joel is perhaps most recognized as the host of E! Entertainment Network’s The Soup, which quickly became one of the most successful shows in the network’s history. A native of the Seattle area, Joel started in comedy as a cast member on Almost Live! a Seattle-based sketch comedy series that proved a hit with audiences. He then moved to Los Angeles and quickly made a name for himself as a comedic actor.
