Carlos Vera
Since I was a kid growing up in Newark, I always wanted to make people laugh…and yes it got me in alot of trouble in school. My comedy is a reflection of my life as Newark native with a crazy Puerto Rican family and i’m more than happy to share it with strangers. From my first open mic I knew this is what i wanted to do. I credit Scotty’s Comedy Cove in Jersey and the Comedians Chip Ambrogio and Johnny Watson for kickstarting my career. As a big fan of stand up comedy, i decided i needed to fill a void in my life, so i signed up for Chip and John’s comedy class and the rest is history. Since then my career as a comic has been growing rapidly. I’ve performed all over NJ including Scotty’s Comedy Cove and at Stand Up NY.
