People move to NYC to hone their craft to become great comedians and residents, as well as visitors who adore NYC for its amazing comedy clubs, fledging funny folks, and superstars. Venues such as Comedy Cellar, New York Comedy Club Midtown, and Broadway Comedy Club guarantee hilarious nights to remember – You’ll giggle at bits!

Sadly, stand-up comedy has been closed for over a year due to the COVID pandemic, but we have good news for you! The NYC comedy venues will be open at 100% capacity starting May 19th, 2021. STAND UP NY joins the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by asking comedy lovers to stay home. Tuesday, March 17, they kick off a comedy marathon of 50 comedians performing on stage from 10 am-10:30 pm.

As part of the comedy community, Stand Up NY hopes to keep people laughing through this chaotic time while giving comics the opportunity to continue honing their craft and keeping the comedy community safe.
