One of the most brilliant comics on the scene today, Underwood’s claim to fame is that she dares to say what people are really thinking and makes no apologies for it.

Underwood’s comedy career began in 1989 when she became the first female finalist in the popular Miller Lite Comedy Search. Since then her career has continued to skyrocket. Sheryl has won a number of high profile comedy competitions including Johnny Walker Red, Funniest Woman at the Improv, Old English Comedy Crunch and BET’s Comic View’s Funniest Female Comedian. In 1995 Underwood was named 1st runner-up in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, securing Sheryl a place in history as the first female comedian- in fact, the only comedian- to place in the competition’s final round three years in a row. read more

Sherry Sirof was raised in a tiny little mountain town, near Yosemite National Park in Northern California. She eventually grew up, moved to San Francisco, and became a stand-up comedian. In her spare time, she makes humorous on-line videos, which many creepy people seem to feel are speaking to them directly. Sherry has been featured in Time Out New York and Businessweek for her efforts.

Small may be his last name, but Sherrod Small is anything but small in the world of comedy and beyond. As a co-host of The Five on Fox News, Sherrod brings his good nature and common-sense wit to the crazy world of politics. Beyond Fox News, Sherrod is a regular guest on NBC’s Today Show, as well as VH1’s Best Week Ever. As many celebrity comedians have, Sherrod Small also took the path well-traveled on Comedy Central. Sheng Wang is a Taiwanese Texan who developed and honed his comedy in the thriving standup community of the San Francisco Bay Area. He performs jokes based on personal experiences and observations and addresses common non-sense with honesty and ill logic. His refreshingly affable stage presence combined with a healthy penchant for absurdity and self-deprecation make his act hilarious and universally accessible.

He has toured with the Comedians of Comedy and American Eagle’s ‘Campus Comedy Challenge.’ He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s ‘Live at Gotham’ and attended the ‘Just for Laughs’ comedy festival in Montreal. Wang’s half hour Comedy Central special aired in 2011. NBC also awarded him with a holding deal that same year. Born into a theatrical family – Jackie Mason (comedian) and Ginger Reiter (playwright) – Sheba Mason has been performing since the age of two as a stage prop in her mother’s play where she sat in her high chair and drank from her bottle.

Eventually, the baby formula turned into booze, the high chair turned into a high step, and the diaper turned into a g-string, and Sheba has not left the stage since.  She has appeared in comedy clubs throughout LA, Chicago, and Toronto, and one day she actually hopes to perform in them.   Currently, Sheba performs nightly in comedy clubs in Manhattan spouting her unique witticisms, on everything from politics to being single in New York. read more

Shawn was born one out of ten Jews in Oklahoma. Performing since the age of eight, it’s only natural that Shawn decided to pursue a career in comedy. She attended the University of Southern California and received a B.A. from The School of Theater. Shaun Latham has been described as witty and goofy with the ability to think fast on his feet – making him unpredictably funny. With his high energy and strong stage presence, Shaun is on the rise in the comedy world, one stage at a time.

As a child, Shaun moved around a lot, “Being the class clown growing up made it easier for me adapt to my new environments.” At 22, Shaun found himself in Tempe, Arizona where he was hired as a waiter at the Improv. Shaun Boylan is an American theoretical comedian who developed the theory of general improv, effecting a revolution in comedy.  For this achievement, Boylan is often regarded as the father of modern Comedy.  Boylan is generally considered the most influential improvisor of the 21st century.  While best known for his mass–laugh equivalence formula E = haha2 (which has been dubbed “the world’s most hilarious equation”), he received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Comedy “for his services to theoretical improv, and especially for his discovery of the “law of the laughter effect”.  Boylan has published more than 300 comedic papers along with over 150 non-comedic works.  His great comedic presence and timing have made the word “Boylan” synonymous with genius. read more
