Comedians T.J. Miller and Thomas Middleditch star in a new campaign for Smirnoff. The advertisements starring the Silicon Valley and Search Party stars are the second reiteration of their “Exclusively for Everybody” Campaign. The pair find themselves on a road trip to the New York Comic Con to pitch a movie about super hero alter egos starring themselves. The comedians play themselves and take the opportunity to have a blast along the way. The pair learn a lot about themselves on the harrowing 3,098 mile journey across the country. read more

Comedian Daniel Tosh is doing his part to make the world a better place. He’s had a busy week dominating the internet, as usual.

Daniel Tosh recently did a shot for shot remake of a Selena Gomez’s “Good For You” with an appearance by Carrot Top as A$AP Rocky. Tosh writhed on the couch in a silk robe and oozed sexuality, no word on whether Ms. Gomez is jealous or not. Besides being the sexiest Selena Gomez impersonator on the planet, Daniel Tosh is also supportive of his fellow comedians. read more

If you’re looking for 1 comedy show every month that is going to bring a loaded line up of talent, there is a new show at Stand Up NY comedy club that should be in the conversation.

Comedy Smash! has been bringing some serious laughs Tuesday nights at 945pm, and it shouldn’t come as any surprise based on the resume of Sam Mushman and his production company Triple Threat Comedy.

Right now the show is monthly, but according to Sam (the host of Comedy Smash), there are big plans for the new brand as the fall months are around the corner. “We pride ourselves on giving our audiences a consistent level of talent. read more

New York Comedian Aaron Berg performed 25 sets on September 12 — two more than his goal, and nearly twice the amount of the previous record. Back in 2003 Steve Byrne set the record at 13, as famously portrayed in the film 13 or Bust. Now Berg is set to release his own documentary on his voyage to the record book, all while paying homage to the New York City comedy scene.

The stunt took 11 hours — and involved Berg shuffling between clubs, navigating traffic to make it there on time, and oh ya — he was being followed by a documentary crew of more than a dozen. And did we mention he wasn’t working with material? Yep, Berg didn’t repeat a single joke the entire night — and successfully warmed up crowds from a handful, to over a hundred in less than 10 minute sets. read more

Saturday Night Live

The former first lady Hillary Clinton was featured on the season premiere of SNL, but not playing herself. The the current Democratic presidential candidate frontrunner played Val the bartender in a sketch comedy opposite resident SNL Clinton impersonator Kate McKinnon.

“I’m just an ordinary citizen who believes the Keystone Pipeline will destroy our environment,” Clinton as Val joked.

Hillary Clinton’s attempts to appear engaging for comedy, and also teased her transformation on issues like marriage equality. (“I could have supported it sooner,” McKinnon’s Clinton said to the real Clinton. “Well, you did it pretty soon,” responded Clinton.) read more
