“Gary Miller is a comedian, actor, and writer currently living in Chicago with a warped and twisted viewpoint on the world. A Denver native with a penchant for wandering off into strange places and making it his home, he is a true gypsy soul with a curiosity that could strangle a jungle cat.
He is currently a contributor and editor for Floodmark literary magazine. He has experience performing improv, stand up, as well as storytelling in national venues such as The Narrators in Denver, CO and winning the DR Story Slam in Rock Island, IL, regularly Co-Hosting and performing at The Venue in Moline while attending college.
Gary continues to grow artistically with ample ability to be sincere – even in satire and biting rants. He can toe the line with in your-face and provocative insights but also dive headfirst into the pool of absurdity. Mr. Miller has the capability to criticize the world around him through creative jest and engaging stage acting. With formal training as an actor at Augustana College, a residential liberal arts institution in Rock Island, IL, and The Atlantic Acting School in Practical Aesthetics in New York. While in college he Co-founded Black Squirrel Productions, a film production company that serves as a film program due to the lack of one in the college’s curriculum. He also served as Editor of the school’s literary magazine SAGA.
